From now on, I will be trying to do more frequent live shows at night. These shows will consist of me talking to you about
any major site updates & changes or just me goofing around. While live at night, chatters will be able to ask me questions
about the site, or anything else they want to ask. Doing this makes me feel like I am connecting with the community more.
Don't forget to check in during the day to view my keyboard shows! I still do these as much as I can. Hope to see you all! Showtime will be around 10PM eastern time.
This won't be every night, but be sure to check in around 10PM every night if
you want to see me! On the night shows, I will allow co-hosting so you yourself can be part of the show!

After all of this time of both Joseppi and myself looking at the coding of the forum and trying a bunch of different things to
get it up and running, the whole time the problem was so simple! I didn't even think doing what I did would revive the forum
but it did. I noticed that a part of the forum database called "error logs" was taking up over 4GB of space on the server,
causing it to malfunction. I deleted it, and right as I did the forum came back! Enjoy! I won't lie, I was very worried that
this was going to be the end of the Sonic ZONE Forum, but it looks like it's got plenty of life left! Special thanks to
Joseppi (owner of thesoniczone.net) for all of his efforts trying to fix the forum while I was away!

First off, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I want to let you all know that the past 2 weeks I have not been home. I was having some issues and had to leave my house. At this point, I am back home now and I will be able to work on the site again. I changed the theme back to normal to start off. As of now, the state of the forum is unknown. Just to let you guys know, I have known about the forum issue since day 1 but was unable to do anything about it. I will try my best to get it back. Until I can, the ViP/SViP system will be closed until further notice. I have no idea what caused this problem, but please know that I will do the best I can to revive the forum. Until then, please stay here with the rest of the community!

Today I have officially launched a brand new section to the forum. From now on, the community will have the voice of who should moderate here rather than just John. Every month, everyone will have an opportunity to convince the rest of us that he or she should become our next moderator! Think you or someone you know has a chance? Check it out here!

Updated the Sonic the Hedgehog 1 ROM file from version 2 to version 3 of the game. There are a couple differences between the two. For one, the clouds on Green Hill Zone move, When you fall on spikes and hit another set of spikes, you won't die instantly, and there's a water ripple effect on Labyrinth Zone. You can get it here! Also, thanks to our partner site, I have added new links to the Navigation menu, Magazines, Cutscenes, and Comics!

Today I completed the new layout for version 10. This means that all of the pages on this site will no longer have the shoutbox.

You may notice that I have removed the old shoutbox from the new layout's pages. I decided to discontinue the shoutbox because people just used it to spam and I was getting sick of it. Therefore, the only chat system will be on the home page.

As you can clearly see, I have rearranged the home page. If you click through the videos pages you'll notice I put the old shoutbox back. Basically that's because if the real chat room is on every page it shows the same user multiple times. So now the main chat room will be on the home page only. The shoutbox will be used more as an actual shoutbox because I'd like to see the chat being done on the chat room.

Welcome to the new BETA of Sonic ROMs Version 10! Expect in this version to be major additions and improvements to the website overall. This process will probably (though not sure) take a long time to complete. For now, the only page you'll see with the Version 10 layout is this one. The navigation menu shows 3 new sections to it which are currently disabled buttons. These new features will slowly be added. Remember, I am the only one working on this site so please be patient! There is no set date for completion but I hope you enjoy the best layout I have ever designed!
