Title: Big Shonen-Show in America
Post by: shadowDOESrock on January 17, 2014, 08:15:11 AM
After Naruto, Bleach, DB and One Piece gained some fair popularity in the US...

Do you think we'll ever get another Shonen that'll become as big as Naruto and Dragonball in the west?

On the scale of DBZ/Naruto? Not unless Toonami picks up steam or CN gets back into the anime game. Otherwise, I doubt it. Unfortunately.

Fairy Tail? Magi?

I hear "Toriko" is apparently really popular.

It has to air on CW, Nick, Cartoon Network, or Disney to have any relevance. And for some reason they want anime that already are based on toys only. So... no. Not anytime soon.

I'm sorry, what?

Bakugan, Beyblade, Scan2Go, Tenkai Knights (which is surprisingly decent), etc.
