There's an application that allows you to play the PC version of Sonic Adventure 2's multiplayer online. So far it only supports the racing and mech shooting levels (but we only care about the racing so that's fine). Since this is a Sonic forum, I figured some of you might be interested in trying it out.

This is indeed good news.
I'm actually surprised this wasn't one of the first things they did... Or why this re-release didn't come with it in the first place...
The fact that I'm not surprised makes me fear for the next generation of gamers.
If nothing else than just to feel the netcode.
Already tried it; on emulators.
I'd try it if I could be certain that Irene could run it without overheating.
She can't run a decade old PC game without overheating either.

Are you browsing the internet on a toaster?
No, an Irene.
A transformer exploded so the power got cut off.
And there's a bunch of stuff I would like to do when it came back on, so maybe not tonight.

I don't even know what an Irene is. Why would you give your computer the honor of having a name when it can't even run a 10-year-old game for you?
Because she's my baby and I love her.
Also Sims 2 doesn't become a decade old until next month. Whoops.
I guess it's just the price of having a
beautiful laptop.
Well it's not out right now, it was, earlier today.
Amy is banned.
I will most likely try this at some point i was honestly hoping that the hd versions had this to begin with.
