Your Opinion on Recolors and Fan Characters

I just felt like this topic was needed.

First of all, if someone likes Sonic so much(No homo) that they decide to make a character, or a recolor, let me say this in defense

IT'S OKAY!!

When someone makes a character, it means that they LIKE Sonic.

So... I think recolors are good.

What is YOUR opinion?

I know skyle doesn't like recolours...
But for me,they are OK,not cool,but ok.If they are made good...

fan characters are good, i have a few myself, however making recolours is unimaginative and sometimes lazy

All of those are UNORIGINAL,CRAPPY, AND DESERVES TO BE IN THE RECYCLE BIN AND DELETED!

And most of all the fan characters why the f***ing hedgehogs! Why the same powers?!?! JUST FREAKING WHY?!?!? SPEED IS TOTALLY OVERUSED! Just look at my Skyle, totally not a hedgehog but a wolf, no powers (Like super speed or chaos control) and ORIGINAL.

Recolours suck. Fan Characters are OK, but I notice recolours more often because they suck.

recolors are okay but i prefer fan characters and i have a recolor because i dont have the skills to create a fan character

In my game, I've gotta make new chars and possesed old chars. To make possessed chars, I have to make recolors of them, so I am for as long as you don't call them a new char.

The shiny pokemon are all just recolors. And that robot emeral from sonic battle, and a bunch of the e-series are recolors, so what's the big deal?

As far as I know, he wasn't in any games and he is drawn a bit differently in the comics.

there's a reason with shadow and mephilies, he takes the form of shadow's... well... shadow, but there are a few notable changes... like a MOUTH

The super chars obviously! I mean, they just negatize the colors (anyone else notise that?) for sshadow and ssonic and make a few fixes like around the mouth and tv ultra chars at flashing a bunch of recolors of the super chars.
