Considering the storyline of the Xtreme games, yes there is one, it wouldn't make sense for the guys to be on the island

As for your question, I assume you mean non-handheld, to which I wouldn't really care, I've already gotten used to not having backwards compatibility, and cartridges lead to less loading.
