Lexus created a hoverboard. It's pretty sick, sadly it wont be marketed any time soon.
So according to bloomberg.com
Quote[Lexus's hoverboard] uses magnetic levitation, or maglev, to achieve frictionless movement. Liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors are combined with a magnetic surface to essentially repel gravity http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-08-04/here-s-how-the-lexus-hoverboard-actually-works
Marty McFly said it pretty nicely, "History's gonna change"
What do you guys think? Good/bad idea?

It looks rad, but right now it's only a novelty. Hopefully decades from now they'll improve it so they can be used anywhere, run on rechargeable batteries, and are affordable.
Next they should invent a time machine.
Yeah it isn't going to be a thing for a whiiillleeee. Good idea though, could you imagine an injury from one of those things?

Eh, they don't seem that much more dangerous to use than regular skateboards. Although now I kinda wanna know what it feels like to have a hoverboard hover over you.
Dude that would be fuckin sweet tbh
