Hideki Naganuma is basically my music idol. He's composed music for games such as Jet Set Radio, Ollie King, Sonic Rush, and Super Monkey Ball. He also composed music for the Air Gear anime under the pseudonym skankfunk. More recently he composed music for Baidai Namco's arcade game Dead Heat Riders and he is also composing music for the upcoming indie game Hover: Revolt of Gamers.
If you've never heard any of his works, you owe yourself to hear his music. If you have heard his music and enjoy it, make sure you visit his YouTube channel or SoundCloud page. He uploads many of his rarer compositions there, including a few remixes that you can't find anywhere else. For example, he recently posted a song he composed for Super Monkey Ball 3D that only appeared in an early trailer for the game. There are even a couple of remixes of Japanese songs that he made in his personal time.
