For Comparison, they gave Unleashed a 7.0, Secret Rings a 7.6, Black Knight a 5.7, Colours a 6.4 (Wii) respectively 7.9 (DS) and 06 a 4.6.

they didnt expect Casino Night to be the only DLC, since its almost normal nowdays for a game to have various DLC's.
I think it's bullshit that even Sonic 06 got some but the best game in years didn't.

because Sonic 06 came out in a time when DLC was experimental.

Not to mention piece of sh*t incomplete messes like Street Fighter X Tekken and Mass Effect 3 can get away with pre-planned, on-disc, day one DLC, but this game just settles with 1...

None of those are SEGA games and I payed the full $60 for SFxTekken and I have to say it's pretty fun to play...granted I still suck at it.

people still complaining about DLC being on the disc? Either way you're paying for it, I'd much rather download the unlocker in a matter of seconds rather the whole package in a matter of minutes/hours...
Besides, if it's on the disc that means my system's hard drive doesn't have to store it, so more free space. Fine by me.

Oh f*ck it, I'm obviously the retarded minority who can't see the "beauty" of how DLC is being used..

Thing is that DLC is useless if they plan DURING the making of the game. i understand the put on disc to make room for hard drive, but uhh.... it doesnt make a shit of sense to call it Downloadable content if it's already on the disc. Some dlc cost $15 and game companies have about 6 different dlcs. sure you dont have to buy it but it's still content that is on the disc that they could have easily just let you unlock as you progress through the game.

Now there are cases where the games have patches and updates much later after release. Even if they stored it on the disc, i dont mind those. Those DLCs weren't planned during the making of the game. Castle Crashers is an example. Months after they announced they were making another game, The Behemoth did a patch that included characters from this new game into Castle Crashers. Hackers accidentally found this out after the patch made it available for them.(ironic)

In short, DLC is nowhere near bad, but if they can store it on a disc later instead of during planning and make us pay for it, then i have no problems. But if they have the time to put it on the disc, i dont see any reason to charge for the disc content again.

If I pay for a disc, I want everything on that disc. I don't want to have to pay extra to unlock what I've already purchased.

I don't get it, everyone says "this is the best Sonic games in years", and it has soo much positive feedback, why is it selling soo poorly?

There are only so many sonic fans in the world Wind. the rest of them are probably too busy playing Skyrim or Mw3 or whatever November game that came out that month and probably forgot about it.

This is why the game industry is full of utter shit. Ever since the beginning of gaming itself companies have been finding new ways of making as much money as possible without any care in the world for our enjoyment.

It's getting worse and worse.

I would've been ok with this excuse if it wasn't for the fact that this game costs $40 or less and is available on pretty much every console that matters =/

It costs about $80 on console and $50 on PC here, so prices around the world vary, and there are definitely better games out there.

soo...
