So Sega...
Despite all the bad ratings on this game; despite all the negativity to this game; despite the game often being called the worst Sonic game of all time...
YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE SMART TO RE-RELEASE THIS GAME ON THE VIRTUAL CONSOLE?!
Seriously?! What kind of short-sighted decision-making is that?! While we are on the Virtual Console subject, another Sonic game is being released on there as well. It's called Sonic Blast. Not the best Sonic game but sure as fuck not Sonic Labyrinth.
Well some people like it or feel nostalgic for it. I doubt they're expecting much money to come from it anyway.
Some little kids out there might like it??
Well there's that too.
>Little kid doesn't go on the internet.
"Look mom! A new Sonic game!"
There's an entire generation already that doesn't know what a Game Gear is.

This.
You have to remember, there's more sonic fans than just on the internet.

1. It's not out yet.
2. Sonic 3 has been re-released on everything that isnt Sony.
3. Sony is pissing me off with that crap.

There is the Master System Collection for PS3 with Sonic 3 on it.
But Sonic 1, 2 and Labyrinth get their own separate release in addition to being apart of a collection, Sonic 3, to my knowledge, still hasn't gotten it's own separate re-release.

Like i said, blame Sony. Nintendo and Microsoft got their crap together. Why not them?

Explain.
Microsoft has it stand-alone.
Nintendo has it stand-alone.
If Sony has it, why haven't they released it stand-alone yet?

Only now do I realise Sonic 3 is on Wii Shop Channel, but I haven't seen it on the Nintendo E-Shop.

No shit, no virtual console game is above 8-bit yet.
I suppose i'm one of the few Sonic fans that didn't have too much of a problem with this game... Sure the gameplay is completely different than the other Sonic games, but I like how they added something different to the franchise. Plus the music in this game isn't bad, if the instruments were a bit more quiet it'd be better.
Never had a game gear. i played it on the Sonic Mega Collection Plus For Ps2.
Always spindash when playing this game
