I think that Sega is just trying to milk the same sonic cashcow with every game.  The staff is tired of it and striving for something new.  Thats why you see something different in every sonic game.  Here are some.  Sonic as a black knight, wherehog, shadow(that addition was cool) etc.  Thats just what I think

no way sega stopped using the sonic adventure engine beacuse it was too glitchy, it was fast and fun thats all I care about  but if they mean as in building level glitchy then I guess I can understand, but that that was the engine that brought chao into execstince
