Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (review) [ reply so i can hear your opinion]

sonic the hedgehog 2 is one of the most well known games in the entire fanbase, but why?

-gameplay
the speed has been immensely increased atleast 200% compared to the last title.
-special stages
the special stages are one of the most notorious segments in the entire game.
they require you to do this 7 times to unlock supersonic.
-music
do I need to ask?
the music is very well received, and in my opinion they did it right.
-upgrades?
compared to the last game I can see the upgrade in quality due to how the game performs.
