So, I'm just wondering...

Was Sonic 06 made quickly, or the devs were just lazy?

A lot of the disaster that became Sonic 06 happened due to time constraints SEGA put on the dev team to get the game complete by Christmas. It sadly had to be rushed which caused a lot of the issues we saw in the game.
