Funi is a good with anime, i don't know much about kai, or dragon ball in this case... but when they release it to dvd, it might be english uncut, japanese dual audio with subs in english.

It's already on DVD and Blu-ray and, yes, it is uncensored.
Also, FUNimation had Sailor Moon for the last 2 seasons that aired on TV. It was WAY less censored. I just wish they'd put it out on DVD. >:U

The Reason is that Dragonball was supossed to end with the Cell Saga.
Toryama just wrote the Buu-Saga on request or something like that.
Since KAI is the 'Directors Cut' its obvious it would end at the Cell Saga.
He wanted to end it after Freeza, too.

Popo is only blue in the 4kids edit. The Nicktoons edit has black Popo. And the DVDs/BDs are completely uncut... well, the Japanese version of Kai actually cut some of the blood from the original, but the point is that the video release here is the same as the one in Japan. :P

Then you're out of luck. FUNimation killed that when the Orange Box sets started coming out. Even though the Uncut sets included bonus features that weren't on the Orange Box sets and the video wasn't cropped in the Uncut sets. >.>

Continuity errors. DBZ is full of them.
The only problem I have with GT is that everything I've seen about it sucks. Then again, the only episode I ever watched of GT was the one with Occeanus Shenron.
I hate GT because of the following:
1.Pan is a total bitch and character never improves, even Chi-Chi lightened up after awhile >.>
2.Pan got too much screen time
3.Did I mention how much I hate Pan?
4.SuperSaiyan 4 spam
5.The other Z fighters were replaced with Pan =/
6.Pan
7.Giru
8.What Goten grew up to be
9.Piccolo dies and stays dead
10.The extremely low level of urgency to Krillin's death
11.It tried to go the DragonBall route by adding more adventure and comedy and less fighting... and failed
12.Goku's a kid again...
13.Pilaf shows up then disappears
14.Goku did ALL the fighting =/
15.Through the whole anime nobody took anything seriously =/

hell i just hate dragonball z kai because they totally fucked it up and they took out alot of the good stuff on it too which really screwd it up >:(
That "good stuff" was filler. It's not like Kai made the original disappear. If you prefer it, you can still watch the original. This was supposed to be more true to the manga. Which it was, until they cut it short and didn't cover Buu.

Honestly, I actually prefer that it stopped at Cell saga for the sake of the story.

So, uh, what's everyone's opinion on this after all this time?
I still think Ocean Dub is the best for Saiyan Arc.
But I think Kai actually works better for the Freiza Arc.
But I also prefer the Funi w/ Falcouner dub for the Android, Cell and Maijn Arcs...

True, I wish it were a full remake as well...
But the difference is still major in terms of quality. Although some animation redos are a bit iffy.
It cut down DBZ from 291 Eps to 167.... so... yeah....
I also have to mention the Yamamoto OST in Kai is majorly better than the music in original Z, ocean Z and even Falcouner sometimes
If he only he hadnt plagarised. The OST that replaced his score is pretty meh

They might. We'll see in the fall on Toonami, unless they're showing the whole series uncut like Naruto Shippuden and will let up to it. They did dub the other songs, though. Look at how many English versions of Dragon Soul they did (It's almost 5-10)!!!
