I'd like to have some feedback on this site.
It's the first time I'll use PHP & JavaScript for my website, the current sonic online website is just plain HTML. Which I find very annoying to edit.

Link to the new website demo:
http://demo.sonic2online.com/

Please note no buttons at the demo work properly yet, these pages are still in creation. And it will be updated to the demo website untill it's ready to be uploaded to the main website sonic2online.com
The full site will recieve a quite simple layout, a menu on the left, and content at the right. These will replace everything on the demo which I call the quick-menu. Except for the header & the background.

The purpose of the quick-menu is for people who come at the site, and just want to know how to get & play the game. They can immediately click 'download' and the download should start without trouble or more pages.
They will probably come back for the install guide when they recieve issues. Or when they're smart, they'll also click the install/error guide immediately.

The full website is meant for more information about the game, screenshots, guide, videos, lastest news, skin-modifications, etc. But isn't required if you just want to play the game.

The site has 2 templates so. But I still have to add a place where you can change the template you want to use. For now you can switch them manually through the following links:
Note: The used template will be saved into your cookies! The cookie expires in 30 days.
Note2: It takes at least 1 second for your browser to switch templates.

Sonic adventure 2 template:
http://demo.sonic2online.com/index.php?template=sa2

Sonic & All stars racing transformed template:
http://demo.sonic2online.com/index.php?template=asrt

I'd love to know what people think about the website. (What template do you prefer? Why? How are the colors? Do you like the font used in the buttons/header?)

Someone on the Sonic Online forums suggested to change the background of the Sonic adventure 2 template to blocks similar to these:

However, the template isn't meant to look like a sonic stage, still I'd like to recieve some more opinions about his suggestion before taking a final decicion.

Update September 24
The website is finished and now available on http://sonic2online.com suggestions are still welcome though. Also if you see anything odd (parts of the website out of place, grammar failures, typos, ... please say so. There most likely are some parts with bad english. English isn't my first language.)
