Title: So My Energy Problem...
Post by: Hakudamashi on March 05, 2015, 02:42:40 AM
So like, remember how I bitched about bills n' stuff?

So like, apparently, my Electric company, JPS, has been doin some supposed illegal shennanigans to overcharge us absurd rates for years... years.
Well, for one reason or another, they only now got called out on their bullshit and we're being the charged the "normal" rate.
My light bill used to be $7000JA per month, now it's $3000JA per month.
And now that the cost of electricity has gone down, the cost of a lot of other things have gone down too, like dominoes or something.
Like, a PS3 game was $10,000JA, now it's $7,500JA.

Just thought I'd share that.
Carry on.

Don't see how that directly correlates with your electric bill but that's good news. Now you can get Persona 4 Ultimax and Xenoverse for only 150% of the original price. That's 50% off, Wind. 50% OFF.

Edit: As usual my math is horribly off but whatever.

It correlates cause they both use electricity, I guess.

I just notice that prices all around have gone down since this happened.

Well, I guess this means I can afford to own a PS4 now...

But I'll still wait for the slim version
You know it's happening.

You can afford like 10 copies of Resident Evil 6 now!

I'm not going to do that.

It will if Haku buys me a Wii U.

Not on your life.

Well that was fun while it lasted.

Because of Obama's visit, our generous leaders found it to be completely necessary to spend a large sum of money we don't have to fix up roads and other things to make the place look as 1st world as possible, even hired some people to get all the homeless off the streets.

You know what that means? More taxes.

So my energy bill, among other things have gone right back to where it was, and then some.
My neighbour suddenly couldn't afford dinner today.

Thanks Obama.

That sucks, dude. Hope you have enough money saved up to get through this.

Good thing you didn't buy Resident Evil 6, am I right?

Your lack of knowledge of how the world works is kinda scary at times.

There's a lot of stuff I'm happy I decided to hold out on last minute
It's like, I got a premonition or something.

Probably should have held off on that New 3DS though.

And yet I still somehow manage to be smarter than you are.

Well at the very least it isn't like you haven't dealt with this before. You have experience.

Nah man, that was planned for, I got a big safety net for that one.

As someone trying to be an accountant, I better know a thing or two about budgeting.
If I can't sustain myself, how would I manage a company?

But it's not really something that you needed since you already had a 3DS and there's only one New 3DS-exclusive.

Obviously someone has never used the new system.

It is entirely necessary.

My necessities are covered and I had a large sum of money for leisure and it was next on my list.
And I'm enjoying it very much.

6 copies of Resident Evil 6 should have been first on your list.

Well I'm happy that you at least thought about it.

I mean, you wouldn't even buy one copy of RE6 for 5 bucks so clearly you must be strapped for cash.
