It has 3D graphics. ACTUAL 3D. Like, Avatar or something. And you don't even have to wear any glasses or anything!!

Oh, and it's backwards compatible with DS and DSi games.

The info I've seen comes right off of a PDF on Nintendo's Japanese website.

They're going to officially unveil it at E3.

I don't think it will have as much as the DS. For some reason, I think it would be harder to make a game in 3D than one with just 2 screens (this new one will have 2 screens too, as well as the 2 cameras).

This is definitely legit. But, SS12, you shouldn't blindly trust Wikipedia. Anyone can edit it, so speculation is often treated as fact over there.

hey Jazz on my 3DS i have starfox 64 3D and i tried the gyro controls on the game and its really hard so i recommend using the regular stick controls

Not personally, no.

The gyro controls can be an ass to use because you have to sit straight and generally can't use the 3D.. but on the other hand like I said it's amazingly accurate and not like a gimmick. I'll certainly try it out.
