Have You Ever Been Addicted to Something...?

By that, I mean addicted to something that isn't good for you.
If you can/want to, you can give a reason of why. You're choice to share or not.

I won't lie, I will say that I think (coughknowcough) that I'm addicted to Motrin/Ibuprofen.
Bottle label: Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Me: I take anywhere from 8-12 a day, maybe more if I have access to it. (you can take it every four hours)
And it's been like this since I started falling apart a few weeks ago.
It's even more extreme now that I'm in band camp.

Lemme break it down for you:
-9 hours a day, 1 for lunch (but it's outside, in the sun, and we either have to stand or sit on the nasty ground)

-Standing almost the entire time (not to mention the tedious exercises ugh)

-Holding up a heavy instrument (has to be pointing upwards, no slouching or you have to drop). It's harder than it looks. Especially since sometimes, we have to keep them up for long intervals (I think the most I've experienced thus far is 30 minutes, but during parades/shows, it can be even hours). Try holding up like 5 lb weights for that long (instruments are heavier, some of them) and THEN tell me it's not hard. Hands together, no slouching.

-Dropping - ten push-ups each time you drop. If one person in your section/band messes up BIG TIME, the entire section/band has to drop. If you scratch/turn your head/shift/any movement at all while standing at attention/set, you have to drop

-Drills. Outside for hours at the time, moving and marching around WHILE TRYING TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT. Yeah. This fucks with your back and legs BADLY.

Most important factor to this breakdown:
I'm not resistant to pain at all. Any amount makes me want to cry. Let's put it this way. I can't even put my arms above my head without excruciating pain.

So yeah, there's my life's story on why I'm addicted to pain pills. >.>
I know that some have it worse than me, but meh.
Everyone has their own physical limits.

When the above things stress me out, I eat.
When I get stressed out from eating too much, I eat more.
It's very unhealthy.

I also went through a temporary addiction to Youtube, so bad that my grades suffered severely.
I went through a massive addiction to this site, with similar grade results.
I also actually have a psychological addiction to chocolate. As in, if I go too long without it, I will go crazy(er).

I've been addicted to cigarettes for 5 years now. I recently quite 2 weeks ago. I figured five years is long enough. It's really hard since I still get the cravings. But it's nice to be able to breathe, smell and taste things better. Not to mention I'm saving $35.00 a week!

No seriously, if you hung out with me, I would get up and grab a snack every 3-10 minutes consistently. Yet I'm somewhere around 6' (somewhere above, just haven't checked in a while) and weigh about 120. My doctor even asked to make sure I don't go on a diet. Uber high metabolism FTW.

i love band. band camp is fun. dude your band camp sucks because mine you get to swim in a lake and
play mini golf watch movies enjoy playing your instrament play ping pong and basketball and air hocky
and pool and at the end theres a dance witch is fun and if u dont like dancing than u can watch movies
