A few years ago? Yeah. Now? ...forget it. I was going to make a joke but forget it.

Adult Swim is about as bad as Cartoon Network.

I was actually addressing the crapload of crappy live-action crap they air. And all the reruns. And the fact that they are only airing 2 anime with new episodes. And the sudden drop of new episodes of Bleach. And I could go on.

They're selling toys for it now. I want them.

I'd hang the sword on a wall.

Speaking of which, did they ever say where exactly Finn got the sword?
Then sometimes he has it, and sometimes he doesn't...

He has more than one, I think. And he doesn't always have it with him. They did show how he got one of them. Can't remember which episode it was, but his sword breaks in a fight and then he gets another...

There's some pretty obvious references to RPGs in Adventure Time. The bottomless inventory is just one. XD

Did you know that the land of oooooo (or w/e) is a post apocalyptic earth?
Notice the regular houses and tanks when Finn and Jake dove into Marcelene's memories.

After the nuclear war, Finn is the only human left, hence he is Finn the Human

According to Pendleton Ward, Marcelene was a vampire before the mushroom (read: nuclear) war, so she might actually know exactly what happened and even whether or not humans are completely extinct. Save for Finn. And the businessmen frozen in that iceberg. Only a few normal animals have been seen in the world, such as shrimp and wolves. In the episode where Finn is afraid of the ocean, you can see ruins of the human civilization. In the opening, you can see a giant crater in the planet. There are human skeletons in a lot of the episodes, especially in ones featuring pre-war locations. The skeletons are often seen in mundane positions, such as sitting together on a couch, implying that something (probably those nuclear missiles we see all the time) killed a lot of people instantaneously. This might or might not be related, but there is a realm known as the Fire Kingdom, which is of course nothing but fire. A map featuring the Fire Kingdom reads "Do not go here. It's on FIRE!"

Finn might have given up on PB since she's too old. The last episode of the season involved Flame Princess.

You'd need to watch the episode. There's one of the best songs in the show, maybe second behind Oh, Fionna. And then another version of that song that manages to get a sex joke out of the Flame King, who is voiced by Goliath from Gargoyles.
