Title: Atlus on a roll
Post by: shadowDOESrock on February 02, 2014, 04:12:13 AM
Well, you all know Atlus is now a subsidiary to Sega, but'll keep fuctioning exactly like before.
With one difference - they have access to all 'suspended' Sega Franchises.

In the latest issue of EGM, in its rumour column, there is the mention that Atlus plans to localize and bring over Yakuza 5.

Yes plz.
Ofcourse, most of you probably dont care for this.

Yakuza has been a huge thing in Japan (kinda the GTA of Japan), however western sales were slacking.
The Series has enjoyed 5 Main Games and 2 Spin-Offs - one of which is coming to PS4.

So they just localise it not make SEGA games?

Cause man, a Jet Set Radio game by Atlus woulda been trippy.

Well, I'm pretty sure they could do that if they wanted to.
I'd be a happy cat if they'd bring over Yakuza 5 though :3

I'd be happy if Atlus made it their sole purpose to revive all "dead" SEGA franchises.
Like Sakura Wars, n' Samba De Amigo, and NiGHTS, n' Space Channel 5, n' Golden Axe, etc.
