Lol, I wouldn't be caught dead playing sports. But on topic, my fav. book series is the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer, my second favs are any Japanese manga, such as KH and Naruto.
I will read everything I'm not asked to read
The full Harry Potter series ;)
The Sega of Darren Shan
Or
The Demonata.
I dont read books
We're talking actual books, I'm guessing?
I love the Artemis Fowl series. Anything by Eoin Colfer, really. I love The Melacncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series, too, but that might be straying to far towards manga, even though they are real books.

Is there a diference in the story between the manga and the anime?
Perhaps I should have been more specific. No comic books.

The books (which came first) follow the events in sequential order. The anime features the same story as the books, but tells it in a slightly different order. The manga pretty much does whatever the anime does.
Books hurt my brain <:
I'd say mine would have to be percy jackson and the olympians.

Yeah, the movie looks to be awsome!
Actually, I believe that there's going to be another, just not about Percy.
Look at the wording on the ending page (after the story ends) in the last Olympian.

I think that the books were too boring and i'll take your word for the movie as lots of live-action movies of book and popular animes are crap *coughdragonballcough*
