Sonic Zone

So, do you like the idea of Sonic and Blaze being together in a love relationship?
Personally, my opinion is yes. I would like to hear your opinions, so please vote; I won't claw your eyes out if you say no, but please no haters/spammers/flamers. :) All reasonable opinions respected.
I would like to go on and say why, but I'll wait and see what others have to say about this potential pairing first.

No,I would rather support Silver and Blaze, Sonic and Blaze could never come to fruition with me.

Alright, any particular reason why Silver with Blaze over Sonic and Blaze?
Personally, I think Silver and Blaze are more of a brotherly/sisterly type of relationship.

Is it? Y'know what bothers me about Silver and Blaze? Everyone automatically seems to assume that when a guy and a girl are working together, and may even be best of friends, that they're always going to wind up in a love relationship. It also bothers me that Blaze was a new character, then they create Silver and shove them together, especially when Blaze could've been a potential love interest for the male characters that already exist, like Sonic, Knuckles, Tails or Shadow.
But in Sonic Rush, we see a dynamic with Sonic and Blaze and there are hints of affection between the two characters. They also make a great team, Sonic shows Blaze how to tap into the power of the sol emeralds, and they seem to really care for each other especially when they split apart at the very end, and they both turned super together. Personality wise, I think they would work well, Sonic's laid back attitude while Blaze can be a little up tight, Sonic helps loosen her up a bit while she may convince Sonic to be a bit more serious. Blaze also isn't a total door mat like Amy is either, seeing a girl fight like that I'm sure Sonic sees as really attractive.
I don't deny that Silver and Blaze care about each other, but let's face it: Sonic '06 cancelled itself out storywise, so that Silver and Blaze never actually met. For a game that few people like, it's very interesting that people seem to support SilBlaze so much, even though the Rush series got comparatively better reception.

Sorry. Still Silvaze and Sonamy for me. It's all a matter of opinion, but your arguments are more than valid.

That's alright, I think you've stated a valid argument for your case as well. Well, at least in favor of SonAmy, but I can't agree with SilBlaze...I think that couple bothers me more than any other couple. Well, ok SonSally bothers me (the Comics version, not the SatAM version) and Knuckles/Julie-su does...but...that's a topic for another thread.

Haha, You've got that right. ;D Well, I used to be a KnuxJulie Fan but...not anymore. Ken Penders ruined it for me....and Ian Flynn hammered the final nail in the coffin so to speak when it came to my supporting that couple. If you wish to know why, feel free to send a PM. I rather not say why on the forum because...I've annoyed many of people with my reason.

Sonic just runs away from Amy, Amy's way too immature for Sonic, and waaaay too clingy. I just don't think it would work between those two. Blaze would definately allow Sonic the freedom to be himself, and why I do agree Amy probably would accompany Sonic on his adventures, I believe Blaze would too, if her duties as guardian of the sol emeralds didn't get in the way.

And I've stated my case for Silver and Blaze already, I just think they work better as a brother/sister relationship. Just because they care deeply for each other doesn't mean they're in love with each other.

And EchidnaPower had a point in another thread, Blaze never said she loved Sonic either, but they have a very sweet dynamic that seemed to hint at them at least liking each other in that awkward way that people do when they have a crush on each other.

they have had they're fair sure of battles, plus, Sonic's only loved someone in the
shows, and comics, the games, no, and i think blaze is only in the games mostly.

Yeah I'm kind of wondering that myself. I think Amy would've busted a blood vessel if she ever saw them kiss (of course, she wasn't in SRA either XP but she was in the first Rush)

I don't think it degrades Blaze one bit to be Sonic's love interest. It's not like she falls head over heels in love with him the first time she sees him, nor that she's a total doormat (like Amy), the fact that they seem to make such a great team and show a degree of affection for each other is why I think the two of them would make a great couple. She would give Sonic the "guy time" he would need and wouldn't be all clingy and constantly concerned with keeping a specific date or schedule with him. She'd also work right along side him, which arguably speaking I can see Amy doing that too but, Amy's also very annoying and clingy to Sonic. So while I think Blaze would be a great match for Sonic, Amy I don't. I don't even care about the "well she's a hedgehog too" arguement, because to me that doesn't really matter. Either you're compatable, or you're not. Plain and simple. Ok, I know you didn't mention Amy should be with Sonic specifically as a counter argument, but I wanted to bring that up just in case someone else did.

Ok on a serious note, she probably wouldn't. The drawing itself is a little out of character, but I still think it's cute.
But honestly, I don't think she's trashy at all. She's probably the most respectable female on there. You have Amy the door mat, Rouge the slut, Cream the prissy damsel in distress and Marine who's just...annoying. -.-;
However, there is one other female character I like and that's Shade the Echidna, who comes as a close second to Blaze IMO as favorite female lead (Except Shade's not a cat and I'm terribly biased in favor of cats. I'm well aware of Honey and Tiara but they never made it into the games so I have no idea how they'd be like personality wise). Oh yeah, there's Tikal, I don't have a good or bad opinion of her.
And I actually DO like Amy as long as she's not Sonic's girlfriend. XP
Now, the fact that Blaze is a cat isn't the reason I like her with Sonic, I mean, I'd probably like her with Sonic if she was a hedgie, echidna, fox, whatever. The fact that she IS a cat is a reason I really like her, but I just wanted to point out that this wasn't the reason I like her with Sonic. ^^; I used to like KnuxBlaze for a while, but then I realized what a great dynamic she was with Sonic.

Actually, SonBlaze and SilBlaze are on the same level for me so:
SilBlaze = SonBlaze > SonAmy

I see what your saying,but I still can't picture Blaze in a..."relationship"

Never really thought of them as a potential love interest for Sonic. I don't really support any Sonic couples, but the only one that really makes sense to me is Sonamy, because Sonic has shown some signs of atleast caring about her i believe.
