It should be "Has Pokemon gone downhill?"

Anyway, I don't think the games have. They've grown and changed as time has passed and every new generation brings welcome innovation to gameplay... with a few exceptions in Generation III (Ruby & Sapphire).

The anime? Absolutely. They need to let Ash go. Complete his story and send him off to Mt. Silver (I'd be happy to see Misty come back beforehand, though. ;)) Would it be so bad if they gave the show to a new character? They should also fire the writing staff. The same story gets told every season at least twice.

If Misty comes back then they don't have to let Ash go. Misty was what gave Ash different personalities and traits at different times. With May or Dawn, it's always the same thing. If Misty were to come back, the anime might even become popular again, it's no coincidence that fans have been begging for a Misty comeback.

In my opinion it has gone down.

I used to watch Pokémon when I was younger and I collected the cards. I even remember getting the special card from the first movie.

the problem is that dumbash trainer and not even misty could fix the great mistake the did already

I think they should use the oportunity HG and SS gave them to let him be the new protagonist of the anime along withn the new battle frontier

Just finished reading the "Red, Blue & Green" Saga at the "Pokemon Adventures" manga and its amazing! More better than the show! So I say that the rest of the manga series are that EPIC too so I guess the manga series are not going downhill!

I mean, why can't they make an animation for the manga? Red is such a awesome character and so is Blue and Green too. They face legendary pokemons ocassionally  (which makes it awesome) and everything rocks!

I don't say the games have the show has.First in the good old days when pokemon still had like 100 pokemon it was awsome the games were awsome. When they made battle frontier it got worse a little in my opinion when they made diamond and pearl the show went downhill theres shit load of annoying pokemon now there is almost no more original friends in the show.It was horrible but they actully made a sequal pokemon battle something I forgot it is way worse so pokemon went from swsome to lame. Not really on their games though.
