as you know i make 3d art.... the program i use is blender. just when i started to get used to it they announce that the next version will have a completely different interface.... i obtained the beta and it feels like a completely different program. i feel like a noob again. but the new version has a valuable tool that i need so i have to relearn blender...

wow, that sucks! i'd be pretty pissed and stick with the old one, and grab the new one for the tool, use the old one, then the new one for the tool, then finish with the old one!
the models from the old one arent supported by the new one... so as far as i can tell i cant do what you suggested
