My bet is that the ring sound hasn't changed reguardless of what people hear of in the trailer.
Sonic Unleashed Adabat trailers had different ring sounds (it actually sounded like the "lose rings" sound) but in the end the original ring sound we have all come to love and adore will stay. Anyway, it looks good but I'm holding out for Sonic 4 to do what it needs to do to get Sonic back on top.
