Question:
Do you play with the "Voice over" language on English, or Japanese?
Option 1: English

Option 2: Japanese
votes: 3
Well I've been playing SA2 and SA2B recently, and I'm curious to know what you do.
Theres an option to change the voices to Japanese. I personally play it with the Japanese voices (English subtitles). I tried Japanese text, but then I was gonna be messed up in the Chao Garden... since I'd most likely be throwing a chao every second...
But what do you prefer it as? Japanese or English (Voices, not text)?
Not to big on things I can't understand...unless it's music. So, English.

I actually noticed I can take the game way more seriously when it's in Japanese. Can't understand a word of it but Shadow sounds like, 10x more epic, personally, when he's in Japanese.
Other than Sonic's end-stage phrases,
"K GUYZ, TAKE CARE" in a really weird Japanese accent...
I played the NGC version in Eng. so I voted that :P.
Also, listening it in Japanese doesn't make it real enough unless it was in JP first.

Lol how so?
For 1: I ALWAYS use him in my chao garden... It is really annoying to hear his pets,pick-ups, and homing attacks. >:(
2: He has a sucky japanese voice actor
I can't think of anymore, but you get the point

Japanese, I hate most English voice actors for some reason.
As long as its not 4Kids
English>Japanese
LOL good point.
English because...
1. I can actually understand what they are saying
2. I know what is going on
You guys that have Shadow the Hedgehog: Set the language to JP and spin dash..>.> Which is why I play games in English. There's my answer.
English...Because I can understand it

To whom?
To you. His voice back then was horrible. Besides, the Japanese voices were brilliant and i'd prefer them any day. :3

No lie though, Shadow's voice was too perfect in Japanese.
What about the later Sonic voices?
I have to say I agree with the people who say that Shadow's voice in Japanese was much better than the English one... As for Sonic his voice is better in the English version. I just can't take Sonic seriously when he says "Sonic the Hedgehog" in Japanese XD No offence to the people who like it but it just sounds really funny to me, in a good way.
Always played in English.
English because of Json Griffith.
I like japenease because shadow says some thing in japanease sh*t on you :3
i like english better because i can understand what the hell they're saying
Hmm yeah
what is the difference with SA2?
