Last time I checked...there's Super Sonic and Dark Sonic; no Dark Super Sonic or Super Dark Sonic.
So you know what that means, this arguement is being debated about with no proof of one of the characters existing.

Well let's see, super sonic is obtained by gathering the 7 chaos emeralds has invincibility, augmented power, etc. Dark sonic is only powered by rage, anger, hatred, and any negative emotion you can think of. Both forms have drawbacks, Super sonic only depends on rings. Dark sonic may be a powerful form but if used with less experience, it could cause a lot of casualties and deaths. Both forms IMO can be used as a last resort. Between the two, super sonic wins. Because he has invincibility and can cause little to no casualties if used properly.

The closest thing to a canon Dark Super Sonic is Darkspine Sonic from Secret Rings who uses the seven world rings. He doesn't depend on regular rings, has the augmented power thing, but isn't invincible. So with that being said, Super Sonic FTW.
