all these shows create a relationship to a creature that looks like a human, but isnt one.
If it would happen that you fall in love with a inhuman creature, would you just try to ignore it, simply because its not a human?

Maybe, it's all about love and the feelings you have for that "creature". I think I would in the right cases...
