I cannot stand nor get into an abridged series - I let them have their laughs. >_>
MOST abridged series are awful. But there are a handful that succeed in what they're supposed to accomplish. LittleKuriboh and TeamFourStar are the only two I follow regularly, though I hear Megami33's Sailor Moon Abridged is pretty good.
I've tossed around the thought of doing one myself... :P
