I'm surprised no one has posted this yet. Pokedex 3D was announced at E3 and released shortly after. Basically, using the AR scanner you can collect Pokemon which you can view in the real world via printable stickers. All the next generation Pokemon are there (Keldeo, Meloetta and Genosect have yet to be released) in beautiful 3D. Other than that it's a combination of a Pokedex, Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Channel. You can use various items to help pose and interact with your Pokemon in the real world and have up to 11 on screen at once, all of which you can scale. Add to the fact that you can then reuse photos as back drops and you could potentially have all 153 Pokemon on screen at once! And if you think that's great, just think of all the porn that's going to come from this...wait a second...on second though, don't.
There are already videos on YouTube showcasing the 3D models as well as pictures on Serebii (http://www.serebii.net/pokedex3d/). I took the liberty of collecting a few screens for your viewing pleasure.

Seeing as I own it, I gotta say the only thing I'm dissapointed with is that it only does the Unova region, and there is no sort of linkage between this and PKMN Black or White

It's rather retarded. You only have 11 pokemon at a time, so (in essence) you can't have the entire pokedex.
I would like it better if it (at least) was the whole Unova dex.

It is the entire Unova dex (excluding the Pokemon who haven't been revealed by Nintendo yet), and if by 11 Pokemon you mean per picture just take a picture, then use it as a background for another 11 Pokemon and so on and so forth.
I would like to access the info of the entire dex all the time, thank you very much.
It only has the info of 11 pokemon at a time.

You're kidding me, right? You do know that Pokedex 3D was created to show off the AR feature, right? Or at least I'm damn well sure it was.
It was created to be 1] a handy pokedex for fans, with 3D models of all the Unova 'mons. 2] A showoff of the 3D.
I don't even know about the AR thing nor use it.
And Jazz, you can have all of the Unova Pokemon on there at once. You collect 3 Pokemon a day like Jkid said.
Besides, it's free.
