I do have to agree with him, I love Portal 2, but if I had an adopted daughter, I would get offended that they make fun of adopted kids

The fact that it is offensive is the whole point. Chell is adopted (apparently) and GLaDOS and Wheatley are trying to upset her. Valve isn't saying adopted people should feel about it. Those character are trying to offend her in any way they can. These people obviously didn't look this up at all either.
