Intro to Computers...
My first assignment is to read chapters 1 and 2. This is what said chapters consist of...
Chapter 1:
Objective 1 = Define Computer and the basic computing functions.
Obj 2 = Identify different types of computers.
Obj 3 = how to use USB ports and CD shit.
Obj 4 = what's the difference between an OS and a program
Obj 5 = lol, internet and networking
Obj 6 = how to take care of your shit even though there's people out there to do it for you.
Chap 2:
Obj 1 = Creating folders and saving files. activity 1 is...(no fucking lie), turning on the computer and getting into the OS.
Obj 2 = what the OS does
Obj 3 = lol, troubleshooting
Obj 4 = Turning off the computer (literally...that's the entire part of this chapter)
Obj 5 = user accounts
Obj 6= how to navigate though folders
Obj 7 = lol, starting programs and adding/removing desktop icons
Obj 8 = window display, sizing, and switching windows. @_@
SERIOUSLY?
115 PAGE OF "HAO TO TURN ON COMPUTER LOLOLOL"
I honestly don't know what to think of this class.
It's a standard class that everyone has to take to get a degree.
But the funny thing is...
I'm taking it online.
If someone were legit taking this class cause they can't use a computer...
why the fuck offer it online?
Sounds like blonde ppl college
As to your online question...derp
I just shit my pants.
Even I could do that. Everything that I did this past year is harder than that..
I did that in grade 6 >.>
Actually, it's more like I did it in like, grade 4, then again for every year of my life.
Network constructions seem more challenging to learn than this. lol
That was a forced class at my old elementary school. lol.
What kind of college are you attending?
I actually took a college-level course...
and passed with flying colours when I was 10.
This is easy as sh*t.
Why is this even in college.
I question that fact.

^This.
I plan to go to an advanced college..and if they have this as a class I think Ill laugh my ass off..
Are all American colleges this easy?
Well, considering the fact that the only piece of advice you can get from tech support is, "are you sure your computer is plugged in?" and "are you sure your computer is switched on?" that doesn't surprise me xD

Now that you mention it...

but it's a required course in NC

That's like what they say down here, colleges strongly want 2 years of Spanish (consecutively) and a semester of economics - although you can get around the economics if you have your electives fulfilling academies we have in the school (computer or finance). I got out of economics with Computer Programming 1 and Game Design 2. lmao

Yep, basically like that. Plus...if you took say Algebra 1 or Spanish 1 in 8th grade, that means you don't have to bog down your high school classes taken all of the years. That alone is why I was able to not take Chemistry/Another Science and Spanish 5 because I had passing "test out grades" which means that's 2 less classes I have to worry about in senior year in place of Web Design 2 and Office Aid. =D
...its quite sad when you're gonna notice that alot of people have problems with these 'easy subjects'

HOW TO SURF INTERNETS?
i dont think its a college level class. its more of an requirement to go to four year colleges
My school didn't bother to teach us how to use the Internet. All they said was 'turn on the computer and go to {site}'
or 'turn on your computer and go to Microsoft word to type out the ___ report.'
Fuck, they didn't teach us how to type.
What about French...
