I just ban them too. I've only deleted two that for some reason I couldn't ban. O.o
I delete them so that our member count is actually reasonably accurate. I'd recommend you guys deleting them too, banning takes longer and they never come back anyway.

And you never know. If we don't ban the IP they could just send more. For all we know 17 spambots could have come from the same site.

Why don't you look yourself? I've never seen two bots with the same IP or ISP when I go to delete them.
