There are terrible glitches in this game, I swear. Half the time I didn't know what I had done wrong. =\

Yep. Almost 100%, sans all S Ranks which I don't play on doing soon.

Thankies. I'm trying to perfect the speedrun for now, though, so expect a little bit less Sonic Generation videos for awhile. xD

Because of the 300% boost gauge skill

There's a skill that increases the boost gauge, but costs a shittonne of points. I don'y generally use it, but it's helpful in CE.

Anyway, i saw your comment. And that wasn't in the terms, so therefore, you can use any means necessary to get me back.
We can go back and forth as much as you wish. it'll be fun :3

I try to only do vanilla runs but if you're going to be that way I'll glady hand your ass to you.

I wouldn't consider using skills to be "improving".

The faster you're going, the harder it is to time during your runs. Which means that pulling off a good skills speedrun can be more challenging.
besides, I find vanilla speedruns to be a little more boring. Choosing the right set of skills for a particular level can be tough.

It's hard for me to explain much further.

vanilla?

Vanilla is a term used for 'unaltered', or 'original'.
In this case, without powers/skills.

I know what you're saying but look at our runs. You were crashing into walls and getting hit like crazy while I made very few mistakes. Vanilla runs are better because no run has an unfair advantage or disadvantage.

vanilla?
Plain. As simple as it can be.

This is alright, I'd say you need to analyze the level a tiny bit better as there are a few shortcuts and even tricks that would shred the seconds a hell of a lot more, but this is a good speedrun. Just really test the routes more and try to avoid the homing attack full stop for the most part, no speedrunner touches it unless it's truly needed for something super specific.
