I always give anyone that asks a really long list of things I want, because basically no one, other than one of my cousins, has any clue what I like. This year, I've been begging for a decent video camera, but I don't think I'll be getting it. v_v I'm also asking for that limited edition Zelda 3DS. Other than that, dozens of games and DVDs/BDs and books.
My family makes a pretty big deal out of Christmas. I guess it doesn't help that me and my brother's birthday is 3 days before. :P

It has its good sides and bad.
It sucks when people try to combine gifts for both Christmas and my birthday, even worse if its supposed to be for both of us. But we do tend to get more expensive stuff for our birthday because of it, people already being in the spending mood and all.
