Title: High School of the Dead
Post by: Supersonic196 on Jan 11, 2012 08:19 AM
I didn't think it was possible to fit that much fanservice in half an hour while still carrying the plot... :U

HOTD and Air Gear.
Two of the best fanservice-while-still-carrying-plot animes<3

I've watched a few scenes of it. I'm not the biggest fan of "fan-service" myself. Jello breasts just don't do it for me.

It is a bit odd, i'nit?

I can imagine what the animator must feel like x3
Being that good of an artist and having to draw about 200 frames of jiggle per episode...

I'd assume it's all computer generated.

Quiet, you. You know what I mean. I thought you referring to them drawing every frame and I was saying I assumed it was animated like flash and not flip note.

Like I said, two of the best.  x3
Gurren Lagann trumps pretty much everything.
So it goes without saying.  :3

A little-bit of both. Depending on the studio.

I thought you meant a CG physics render with tracing applied, I assumed it wasn't done by hand, but still, flash takes time...

Make it round, trace over it.

The technique of tracing CG for animation has been used for quite some time now.
The only example I can think of at the moment is the Cyborg from treasure planet,
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v688/Dinogaby/favecartoons/Silver02.jpg)
His arm is actually a 3D model, they then traced over it to make it look like it was drawn.

I don't even know what generic is anymore, the meaning is warped.

While we're on the subject of anime, Baccano is fantastic.
