You guys just don't get it. Of course, if you're serious, you love the one you're with, but you know that money doesn't grow on trees. V-Day is that day that gives you somewhat of a better incentive to say, "I'm going to show her what she means to me." where things like work and what not can be put aside in your mind.
Besides, everything else has a fucking holiday. One devoted to love only makes sense. I'm a hopeless romantic so of course I love it~

Valentine's day is nothing special to me but I'm a Pinkie Pie at heart, so I have to do something little to celebrate. I usually just throw Carter a box of chocolates like "here." I think I spend more money on my friends than I do on my BF for valentine's day. normally I get like 3 or 4 different boxes of those little kiddie valentines cards, but I was poor this year, so everyone got ponies except some of my close nerd-buddy friends who got YGO villians printed off my printer. xD
I hate when people go "OH FUCK VDAY IM SO LONELY."
