And it's good to know someone else shares my hatred of Modern Sonic doing both 2D and 3D
It's stupid, I didn't care for it when Sonic Unleashed did it, I HATED it when Sonic Colours did it, now it's just annoying when Sonic Generations did it =/

Modern Sonic needs full 3D levels.
If you want to play a 2D Sonic games you should go buy Sonic 4 or hook up your Genesis. I don't want to have to stop to platform when I'm having fun drifting around corners and grinding on rails.
And don't get me started on how redundant it is, I mean you already got Classic Sonic who is strictly 2D, why can't Modern Sonic be strictly 3D?
I really don't get what you guys are complaining about I found the game very enjoyable; the controlls where responsive, the levels where enjoyable, and the missions where quite fun ;D, (well most of them, I found some of the doppleganger races very annoying). >:(
Either it's just my opinion or it's because I bought the 360 version. ???
I think that Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are drawing more people's attention that SEGA.
