I'm trying to plan my own VN, but in order to do that I need your help.
Off the top of my head I know I'm going to need writers and artists, I'll take care of the programming and shiz.
If you're willing to help, let me know what you can do.
I was going to suggest using RPG Maker. Believe it or not you actually could make a great VN with it. There's also a program made specifically for VNs, but that's all assuming you can't program.
As for story, if I wrote a VN it would be just that. My visual novel. I can see needing an artist but an author doesn't ask someone else to write his book so he can staple the pages together.

I'm interested. I can't draw, but I think I'm at least competent at writing.
RenPy is pretty easy to use, I've played around with it before. And its what Katawa Shoujo was made in, if that makes a difference.
And multiple authors wrote KS. Each route was written by a different person.

Make it so you are not the only male character in the game and every other female character is unlikeable and you never act nice or go out with them. It would really revolutionize the visual novel scene.
So, uh... I'm assuming this never got off the ground. Is there still any interest in making one of these?

I tried working with Renpy. Hell, I even tried learning soft-shading. Then I moved on to a Pokemon project and stopped learning those other things completely.
I was only saying that as a joke. Relax. I don't know what we'd make one about that isn't generic as all Hell, though.

What else can I say? I've already iterated how the characters are amazing and the story is fantastically paced. Even Wind, while he hated it at first for the same reasons as you, eventually turned around and said that he loved it.
