Now, I'm not got bitch at how much I disagree with their Top 10, but I got to ask 1 important question...
How exactly did Sonic 1 get on the list over Sonic 3 & Knuckles?

Yeah, I was kind of wondering this, too. I think Sonic 1's impact on ppl is why. But 3 & Knux has better improvements for, overall, better gameplay.
I didnt watch it but im sure the number 1 game was probably Legend of Zelda.
Am i right?
Whenever there's countdowns like this, usually the game that "started it all" is bound to have a higher spot than "better games" developed later on in the series.
This countdown SHOULD have been "The Top 100 Most Important Video Games of All Time". Some of those didn't even deserve to be on a list of the best ones ever, but most of them are the most important.

Nope, it's Super Mario Bros. for the NES... shocker...

That's exactly how I feel, cause how exactly is "The Legend of Zelda" further in the list than "Ocarina of Time"?
How can Sonic 1 be on the list, but there's NO mention of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which is everything Sonic 1 has, but better.
How is the original Super Mario Bros. better than Super Mario Bros. 3? In fact, how are they better than Super Mario World?
If this was a list of which games impacted gaming the most, then I would be more agreeable... but right now... I'm just confused.
They were trying to kiss as much ass as they could to reduce fanboy rage. All companies do it.

This seems true since there are 3 Zelda games and 2 mario games in the top 20.
But I'm a bit skeptical since Mass Effect 2 was in the 90-80's range...

i bet Crash 3 and Megaman 2 made it in there some where...
G4 has NO ass left to kiss. How much of their audience is still gamers? The ones still watching aren't going to stop, for whatever reason, and the ones that have tuned out are NOT coming back. They should change their name and sell off X-Play to... I dunno, Spike has a better track record with gamers at this point. Their E3 coverage was nicer, even just going by the televised stuff.

Megaman 2, yes, but the bandicoot was nowhere on this list...

Well... Resident Evil 4? They were sucking that game's dick when they reviewed it.

Yeah it's on the list, in the 30-20 range
