While the beta for Source Filmmaker has been hidden in the files for Beta Team Fortress 2 for awhile now Valve has finally decided that, with the release of Meet the Pyro , the unique model filming tool (used to make not only the Meet the Team videos but in game cutscenes and promotional videos as well) will be coming to the public for an official release. This means that it may be getting more updates as time goes along and that many of the compatibility problems caused by the beta will, most likely, be patched. Source Filmaker has been a long time rival of Gary's Mod in the world of valve film making and may be running it "out of business" due to it's more intuitive and simplistic design.
So, is this news music to your ears or a painful dirge blasting in the ears of the G-Mod community? I look forward to hearing your responses.
