Title: Time Stones, Machines, or both?

So when you go to complete the game with all good futures what do you do to obtain them? Do you collect all the time stones, do you destroy all the machines in the past or do you do both? I suck at the special stages, I can only make it past 3 or 4 of them so I always destroy the machines in the past to obtain a good future in each level. Maybe one day i'll be able to collect all the Time Stones but for now that's how I play. xP

I go for the time stones those machines are very annoying.

Yes i failed to collect all Time stones thus ending Sonic the hedgehog's world to dea----

I try to do the machines until i get the time stones.
