all of the Mechanical characters from the sonic games have taken over the world. every time thefreedom fighters try to end their reign, it results in death. but, there's one being strong enough to defeat the Mechs. and Light the hedgehog, Tiger the Chao, Rogue the hedgehog and friends will find that being. the beings name is completely unknown, but it's name will be revealed when they find it. however, the Mechs are after it too. and if they get their hands on it, it will spell trouble for Light and his friends. the being kind of looks like this: (http://s73.photobucket.com/albums/i233/sepheroth9846/th_megaman8.jpg). the ultimate test, shall begin.
