Title: Sonic Boom? What is this sorcery?

So apparently according to http://www.tssznews.com/2013/06/15/sega-launching-new-sonic-boom-cartoon/ it appears that Sonic is getting another show after Sonic X. To me... this is just... blargh! no really, it's crazy and weird. I mean digging up old characters makes it a hoax to me but i'd like to hear your opinions on this. I'll reply to any question you wish.

His writing credits seem pretty good, the episodes he's credited for on thatoneshowIlikebutcan'ttalkabout were great.
