The last true survivor franchise of the old-school shooter-kind.
These Games are seriously hard and seriously hilarious.

There's an HD Collection on both PC and Xbox 360.
The Xbox 360 Collection consists of Serious Sam: The First Encounter HD, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter HD, Serious Sam 3 and Double D.
The PC Collection consists of the above mentioned plus Serious Sam 2 and Random Encounter
PC Version features... 16-Player Online Co-op for the Campaign and Survival Modes. Yep, you heard right.
You need a seriously good PC though.
The Main Games
Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Second Encounter, 2 and Before First Encounter are all old-school first-person shooters.
The Main Games feature Split-Screen support on 360 and PC... really fun with friends!
Serious Sam Double D is a nod to old-school side-scrolling shooters...

There's a bunch more spin-off's. One's an FPS on GameCube and the other is some iOS Game and there's one on GBA.
Basically, what the Duke Nukem Franchise should be.
If you can't stand old-school fast-paced first-person shooters this is nothing for you.
If you can't stand really hard games (but not unfair) this is nothing for you either.

Serious Sam, Halo and Red Alert are the games my family and I got together and played for hours back in the day when I went to visit.
