How did I not know about this? So apparently a group of people are working on an official sequel(yes, they got the rights from the creator of Kunio-kun and Double Dragon) to, maybe the most fun to play beat-em-up out there, River City Ransom. The game is going to have the same style as the original(western release), but with a ton of cool things added. I don't really like when modern games try to go fully 8bit style, but this(and maybe Cave Story) changes that for me.
The project is on Kickstarter and they need 180,000 Canadian dollars to finnish the project.
