Title: Games That You Beat Every Year
Post by: Hakudamashi on December 13, 2013, 06:09:00 PM
Do you, or did you ever have that one or few games, that although they may not be your favourite, but you love them enough that you're ever so eager to do another playthrough, so much so, that without realising, you may have made a personal ritual to beat that game at least once every year? 100% or otherwise?

For me, it used to be Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, but then my PS2 broke... But now with the HD Remakes, I just may start doing that again.

But right now, I've come to realise that game is Sonic Colours. I didn't even realise until my brother pointed it out to me last week.

SADX, sometimes SA2. I should probably do more but I dunno. I usually end up replaying them by accident.

I used to play through JSRF all the time. I probably did beat it at least once every year.

I usually don't play through games more than once

buuut the closest thing currently to that would be either Halo 1 or Twilight Princess.

Such fantastic games.
Halo still brings in more 'mood' than most other shooters.

Anniversary edition or original?

Well, both.

It's really just the exact same game.
... How an HD Remaster should be done.

Besides, Anniversary Edition literally includes the original game by the press of a button.

Which button, it didn't replace an existing action did it?

I prefer not to waste my time with the same game more than once, much less make it an annual thing. In fact I actually hold off on 100% completing most games just so I have something to go back to if I ever decide to play it again.

But there's only a finite # of games in the world =U

Don't you have that one game that you wouldn't mind picking up and beating again if asked?

I didn't have it when I was younger.

No, it's literally the same game.
You press the 'Back' Button and bam old Halo.

Not really every year but I have to say that Phantasy Star 4 and Megaman Legends are the only games that I finished more than 7 times
