Capcom plans to enter the ring and reaffirm its presence in the fighting game world, Deep Down producer Kazunori Sugiura told 4gamer in a group interview translated by Destructoid. There's no word yet on which IPs will lead the charge.
The next Phoenix Wright game is already in the works, Dual Destinies director Takeshi Yamazaki said. Director of Phoenix Wright 1 - 3, Ghost Trick and Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (due for western launch in 2014) Shu Takumi said that his team will announce a game next year – yes, the year that begins tomorrow.
Capcom will also announce a revival of one of its classic IPs by "the time the weather warms," Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara producer Kenji Sugiura said.

Guys, its merely been 3 years since the last one - Mega Man 10.

I'm not going around saying it's dead though and in the need of a 'revive'.
Well it's not like Nintendo cancelled 3 Metroid games, released a shitty mobile game game for it's anniversary and blamed everything on lack of fan support...

Not that we know of.
The issue with those Mega Man Games was that they were announced way to earlier in their development cycle, which is why they were able to cancel those games just like that.
So you're saying CAPCOM chose to appear like villians in the gaming world?

And officially published a crossover fangame between Metroid and Virtua Fighter just to count as a Megaman release.

I'm saying they were being stupid.
First of all, having three games in development the same time for the same franchise was stupid.
Announcing them before they even knew if they could deliever one of these products was stupid.
Like, literally. They announced some Alpha and I suppose they expected a bazillion reservations to finance the whole thing.
