I only found out about this because I saw an article about how it was delayed.
I thought we were over this with Dead or Alive 5.
If it's next-gen i'm going to buy it anyway though
Why should they discontinue it? Are the games bad?
Welp.
Time to add another to the list of games I need to hide from my family.
Although the DOA Xtreme games look very nice, I heard they are pretty terrible. If so, how do they manage to continue it?
They look unique from what I've seen. I've never played one, though.

I played the first one, it's a fun sports game, the only other sports game Id play other than Tennis games.

It looked like Team Ninja wanted to be taken more seriously, with their design choices in Ninja Gaiden 3 & Dead or Alive 5.
Pfft, you must have a pretty fickle fanbase if a spin-off has more "voice" than the main series =/
