Y'know, Killer Instinct and DoA5U are F2P fighting games...
It matters how they handle the microtransactions...

No. They're full games with an F2P Component.

If it's designed for F2P we'll see Stat Boosters like in Tekken Revolution.
And considering its the same team.

Gameplay looks fun...everything else looks and sounds stupid, though.
