Unfortunately I could not care about Megaman Legends, except Roll.

Unless the controls are tighter and the level design isn't ass.

From my experience with Japanese fangames (mostly Touhou), I can gladly say that Japanese fans often make games better than the official products, a thing that can also apply to animation.
